Pulisic scores winner for Milan at the weekendCBS crew assesses USMNT star's seasonTold he needs to be 'arrogant' to take next stepWHAT HAPPENED?
CBS Soccer's show discussed the winger's impact at Milan this season, just days after he scored the winning goal in a contentious match against Sassuolo at the weekend. Ex-West Ham star Nigel Reo-Coker and former USMNT player Charlie Davies believe he's taken his career to a new level in Italy, but to take the next step the former Hammer feels Pulisic needs to develop a sense of 'arrogance.'

"I want him to have that arrogance to say 'I'm the man…' [Can he get to world class level] — I think he can. I've never been someone to doubt his ability because he does have the ability, he's got everything. It's the availability of staying fit for an entire season. And having that bit of arrogance about him to say right everyone's watching me now it's Christian Pulisic time, like, it's about me. I need to take this moment and show why I am this guy.
"He doesn't seem to have that edge about him, which is fine, he seems like a really nice guy and I'm sure Charlie knows him better than a lot of us, but for me, you need to have that arrogance. You know, the top players who play this game in world football, they've got that edge about them. They've got that arrogance where, when it comes to these big moments, these big games, they deliver, I feel he's got the ability to do it, but it's that personality factor that's missing a little bit there. He's having a great, great season and you just hope he continues for the rest of the season to do so. And then take it again that next step, next season."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Pulisic has scored six goals and and added four assists in 16 games for the Rossoneri this campaign, passing USMNT teammate Weston McKennie's 2020-21 record of the most goals by an American in a Serie A season. He's been on fire in Milan, undergoing a career revival under Stefano Pioli, with the boss recently dubbing him a 'great player'.
