The English champions were left stunned when League One side Leyton Orient shockingly took the lead through Stefan Ortega's own goal in the 16th minute. New signing Abdukodir Khusanov and veteran midfielder Kevin De Bruyne then scored in the second half to help City progress to the next round.

During the game, while City were trailing, the home fans at Gaughan Group Stadium were heard chanting: 'You're getting sacked in the morning' as they tried to rile up Guardiola. The Spanish manager addressed the incident later in the press conference as he revealed how felt about the home fans jeering him.
WHAT PEP GUARDIOLA SAID
Speaking to reporters, the 54-year-old said: "Fantastic! Well when they say, 'You are going to sack in the morning' not so much! But it's a routine in all the stadiums right now… With this result I think my chairman is not going to sack me tomorrow, that's for sure!"
