As things stand, the Egyptian forward could find himself on the move in the summer of 2025. That is because his contract at Anfield continues to run down. If no extension is agreed, then Salah will hit free agency at the end of the current campaign.

Speaking with , Salah said when asked if a stint in La Liga could be on the cards given the lessons that he has been taking away from the field: "I’m just learning the language a little, and I can say things like ‘how are you?’ but that doesn’t mean I’m considering living in Spain."
