Rashford joined Villa on loan from United in February and had a solid spell at Villa Park, before his season was cut short by injury. Now, according to Fabrizio Romano, the 27-year-old will be available for £40 million ($54m) this summer – the same amount as Villa's buy option clause.

Rashford is unlikely to have a future at United after an alleged falling out with head coach Ruben Amorim, but it is clear he had an "incredible" time at Villa. But the England man's future is very much up in the air, and there is no guarantee Villa will sign him permanently this summer.
